Our Mission

"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." – Mark 16:15 (KJV)

Mission Statement:  "It is not what I feel, it is not what I see, but it is what I believe in faith in God's word."

Mark 16:15-20 (KJV):

15 And he said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

19 So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven and sat on the right hand of God.

20 And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Our Beliefs

Death Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ

The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ: We believe in the foundational truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, conquering death and providing salvation to all who believe.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV):

"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

Virgin Birth

We affirm the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, being born of a virgin, fulfilling the prophecy and signifying His divine nature as the Son of God.

Isaiah 7:14 (KJV):

"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."

This prophecy, found in the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament, foretells the miraculous birth of Jesus through a virgin. The name "Immanuel" means "God with us," emphasizing the divine nature of Jesus as the Son of God who would come to dwell among humanity. This prophecy was fulfilled in the New Testament with the birth of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke.

Salvation through repentance:

We believe that salvation is offered to all through repentance, turning away from sin, and putting our faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Luke 13:3 (KJV):

"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

In this verse, Jesus emphasizes the importance of repentance for salvation. He warns that without repentance, there is a risk of perishing. Repentance involves turning away from sin, acknowledging one's need for forgiveness, and seeking reconciliation with God. Jesus frequently taught about the necessity of repentance as a foundational aspect of receiving God's forgiveness and experiencing salvation.

Baptism of water:

We acknowledge water baptism as an essential act of obedience and identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, symbolizing our new life in Him.

John 3:5 (KJV):

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

In this passage, Jesus is speaking to Nicodemus and explaining the concept of being "born again" or "born from above." He mentions the necessity of being born of both water and the Spirit in order to enter the kingdom of God. The "born of water" is commonly understood as referring to water baptism, symbolizing the cleansing and regeneration that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. The "born of the Spirit" refers to the spiritual rebirth that occurs through the work of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life.

Communion:

We observe the practice of communion, also known as the Lord's Supper, as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice and a symbol of our unity in Him.

Matthew 26:26-28 (KJV):

"And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

In this passage, Jesus institutes the practice of communion during the Last Supper with His disciples. He takes bread, blesses it, and gives it to them, symbolizing His body that would be broken for the forgiveness of sins. He also takes the cup (wine), gives thanks, and shares it with them, representing His blood that would be shed for the new covenant.

This act of communion, also known as the Lord's Supper or the Eucharist, this is significant in Christianity, and it serves as a remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for the salvation of believers. It is practiced in various Christian denominations to commemorate and reaffirm their faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

Trinity and the Godhead:

We believe that God is the Father, the son and the Holy Ghost all together.

1 John 5:7 (KJV):

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

Hell is real:

We acknowledge the reality of hell as a place of eternal separation from God for those who reject Him, emphasizing the urgency of spreading the Gospel message.

Matthew 25:41 (KJV):

"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels."

In this verse, Jesus is describing the final judgment, where He separates the righteous from the wicked. He mentions that those who are on the left hand (representing the wicked) will be sent into everlasting fire, which is a reference to hell. Hell is depicted as a place of punishment for those who reject God and His ways

Believing in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the evidence of speaking in tongues

We embrace the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an empowering experience for believers, often accompanied by speaking in tongues, as described in the book of Acts.

Acts 2:4 (KJV):

"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

This verse describes the event that occurred on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples who were gathered together. As a result of this baptism of the Holy Spirit, they began to speak in other languages (tongues) that they had not learned before, as the Spirit enabled them to do so.

The phenomenon of speaking in tongues is also mentioned in other places in the Book of Acts (e.g., Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6) and in Paul's writings, particularly in 1 Corinthians 14, where he provides instructions on the proper use of tongues in the context of Christian gatherings.
